Cloud migration

Office servers to the cloud — without downtime

We move your servers, files, email and applications to the cloud step by step, so your business does not stand still for a single day. Up front we show you what is worth moving, what should stay on site and what it will cost each month.

Why the cloud

An office server works non-stop. You don't.

It runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – at night, at weekends and while you are on holiday. You pay for its electricity, cooling, servicing and a new one every few years. In the cloud, capacity adapts to how much you really need.

8 760 hours a year an office server runs
2 000 hours the business actually uses it (250 days × 8 h)
working hours server running idle

What changes when you move

Server in the office Purchase, electricity, cooling, worries
Cloud Capacity on demand, managed by us
Migration 100 %
  • No new server every few years The cloud provider takes care of hardware and its replacement. You do not have to plan a big purchase.
  • Access from anywhere Documents, email and applications work in the office, at home and on the road – securely.
  • Predictable monthly price Instead of a one-off investment and unexpected repairs, you pay a monthly amount you know in advance.
  • Data safe even in a disaster Off-site backups. Fire, theft or a failed disk will not cost you your data.

What we move

What you can move to the cloud

Not everything belongs in the cloud. For each part we tell you whether moving it pays off – and if not, why.

Files and documents

Shared folders with the same permissions as today – available outside the office too, and backed up.

Email and calendars

Mailboxes moved without losing mail, contacts or calendars. We schedule the switch outside working hours.

Applications and databases

Accounting, ERP or your own applications – into the cloud, or hybrid if licences or speed do not allow it.

Backups and recovery

Off-site backups and a tested recovery procedure – you know how quickly you will be back at work after an outage.

Process

How the migration works

Step by step, in parts, and always with a way back.

  1. 01

    Inventory

We map servers, applications, licences, data and who uses what.

  2. 02

    Proposal and price

We recommend what goes to the cloud and what stays on site, and calculate the monthly price against your current costs.

  3. 03

    Moving in parts

First we move a less critical part as a trial, then the rest outside working hours. The original servers keep running until everything is verified.

  4. 04

    Management after the move

We look after the cloud from then on – backups, access, updates and costs under control.

Worth reading

How much does moving to the cloud save?

Investment, energy, maintenance and security – we have set out where businesses really save when moving from their own servers to the cloud.

FAQ

What you ask us most often

Is moving to the cloud always worth it?

No. If you have a new, well-utilised server or applications that will not run in the cloud, we will tell you openly and suggest something more sensible.

How much does a cloud migration cost?

It depends on the number of people, the volume of data and the applications you use. After the free audit you get the migration price and the monthly costs up front – compared with what your current server costs you.

Which cloud?

We choose based on your applications, licences and where your data has to be (for example in the EU). We do not tie you to a single provider.

Will we be down during the move?

No. We move in parts and do the final switch outside working hours. We keep the original systems running until everything is verified.

What about data and GDPR?

Data can stay in data centres in the EU, access is set up by role and backups are stored outside the office.

What happens to the hardware left over after the move?

Whatever can still be used, we use. The rest we securely wipe and hand over for recycling.
