3. Cookies and analytics

The website only uses strictly necessary cookies without which it would not work (e.g. a session cookie that may be created when a form is submitted and expires when the browser is closed). No consent is required for these cookies (Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications).

We currently use no analytics or marketing cookies. If we introduce them (e.g. Google Analytics), they will only be stored with your consent given via the banner on the website, which you can withdraw at any time, and we will update this page beforehand. Fonts and other website files are stored on our own server – nothing is loaded from third parties (e.g. Google Fonts) when you visit. Links to social networks are plain links; we send them no data unless you click on them yourself.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. Access to it may only be given to:

  • our processors who provide hosting, email and other IT services for us, and external accounting services – always under a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR,
  • public authorities where the law requires it (e.g. the tax office),
  • legal and tax advisers bound by confidentiality, where needed to protect our rights.

We process data in the European Union. If a processor were to transfer data outside the European Economic Area, this would only happen with appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR (e.g. a European Commission adequacy decision including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses).

You have the right:

  • to access your personal data and obtain a copy of it (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected (Art. 16),
  • to erasure (Art. 17) and to restriction of processing (Art. 18),
  • to portability of data we process on the basis of a contract or consent (Art. 20),
  • to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),

Send your request to office@awis.sk. We will handle it free of charge within one month at the latest. If we are unsure of your identity, we may ask you to verify it.
